ABOUT US, ROCK 1981... THE BEGINNING...
Well, in the beginning, God created the day, the night, the earth, we created PARADELIA, as a Rock band, in 1981 in México, it was not an easy journey, Rock was seen as a Noise, as drugs, as nasty, but we keep rocking from 1981 ’till 1984, when we decided to take different journeys, different Ventures… So then, it was the beginning of the concept of “digitalpicnicz”, none existing at that time, it was merely digital sound, working at Intersound in Los Angeles, by creating, from 1984 to 1990, the first sound design of sampling, sound efx, recording actual instruments to turn them into digital samples (well, it was the first use of Mac hardware to use as main frame to digitize sound)… And working in Visual design, (Graphic Design) the first ones into the Hispanic Market as Paralel Design Group… It was the biggest innovation at that time. But we missed tacos, smog, noise… Back to Mexico City… and then, Had the first personal digital recording machines… went out to record life, sound, cars, birds, people, sports, and so, digitalpicnicz was created. and from there it moved for all this many years, up until digitalpicnicz® became an entity that creates, composes and produces (from producer) sound, music, life. Bueno, al principio, Dios creó el día, la noche, la tierra, nosotros creamos PARADELIA, como una banda de rock, en 1981 en México, no fue un camino fácil, el rock era visto como ruido, como drogas, como algo desagradable, pero seguimos rockeando desde 1981 hasta 1984, cuando decidimos emprender caminos diferentes, aventuras diferentes… Entonces, fue el comienzo del concepto de “digitalpicnicz”, que no existía en ese momento, era simplemente sonido digital, trabajando en Intersound en Los Ángeles, creando, de 1984 a 1990, el primer diseño de sonido de muestreo, efectos de sonido, grabando instrumentos reales para convertirlos en muestras digitales (bueno, fue el primer uso de hardware Mac como mainframe para digitalizar sonido)… Y trabajando en diseño visual (diseño gráfico), los primeros en el mercado hispano como Paralel Design Group… Fue la mayor innovación en ese momento. Pero extrañábamos los tacos, la contaminación, el ruido… De vuelta al DF (CDMX)… y luego, teníamos las primeras grabadoras personales digitales… salimos a grabar la vida, el sonido, los autos, los pájaros, la gente, los deportes, y así, se creó digitalpicnicz. Y desde ahí se movió durante todos estos años, hasta que digitalpicnicz® se convirtió en una entidad que crea, compone y produce (desde el productor) sonido, música, vida. Rock x siempre
